Nana's Lemon Squares

  • 1 cup Margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup Confectioner's sugar
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 5 tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Lemons
  • ~ Confectioner's sugar

    • Preheat oven to 350°. Combine margarine, confec. sugar and flour. Pat into 9x13 pan. Bake 20 minutes.

    Mix eggs, 5tbsp. flour, and juice of the 2 lemons. Pour over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and sift sugar over top. Cool and cut into squares.

    You can make 1/2 the recipe and bake in 9x9 pan.
