Grandma's Potato Stuffing
Boil potatoes. Mash well.
Add crushedsaltines to make a 2/3 potatoes, 1/3 cracker mixture. (ex. 2 cups potatoes to 1cup crackers) Dice bacon and cook untilcrisp. Mince onion and add to bacon. (don't add onion until bacon is cooked or the juice from onion will keep bacon from cooking) Add to potato mix , grease and all. Mix well. Add salt and pepperand Bells' seasoning. Mix in beaten eggs. Mixture should be fluffy and tan in color. I taste before adding eggs to check seasoning. Should be flavorful.
Stuff bird or turn into greased ovenproofdish. If cooking outside of bird cook for approximatly 45 minutes. Allow room to puff.
