Grandma's Hot Milk Cake

  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Cube Butter
  • Beat eggs well. Add sugar and beat some more. Add baking powder, vanilla. Heat milk and butter together almost to boiling point. Cool a minute and add to flour and egg mixture carefully. Pour into 9 inch round cake pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. This makes 1 cake layer. If you want to make two layers double recipe. Frost with chocolate whipped cream filling.
