Whipped Cream Dressing

  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Light cream
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • Microwave Oven Directions: In a glass bowl combine dry ingredients. Mix remaining ingredients and add slowly, stirring constantly. Cook on medium for 3 or 4minutes, until thickened, stirring onceevery minute. Strain and cool. Fold in whipped cream.

    Conventional Directions: In top of a double boiler, combine dry ingredients. Mix remaining ingredients and add very slowly, stirring constantly. Cook, over boiling water, stirringconstantly, until mixture begins to thicken. Strain and cool. Fold in whippedcream.

    Yields 1-1/2 cups.
