Conventional Directions: Melt margarine in top half of double boiler, over water. Add cocoa and blend well. Stirring constantly, add water, sugar, and syrup. Bring to a boil and allow to boil without stirring for about 5 to 8 minutes. The longer cooking time produces a sauce whichhardens over ice cream. Add vanilla and stir well. Serve hot. Yields 1 1/2 cups.
