Pork Mutton Veal, Sandwiches

Italian Sausage

  • 3 pounds Italian Sausage links
  • 2 large Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 pound Mushrooms, fresh, sliced
  • 1 large Onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar, granulated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme, dried
  • 2-16 oz cans Tomatos, diced
  • Precook sausage, drain. Saute fresh veggies in margarine. Add precooked sausage and rest of ingredients into a large pan. Bake or simmer at least 1 hour.

    Serve on a hard roll or pita bread.

    Freezes very well.
