Cheese Mostaccoli

  • 1 medium Onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery
  • 1 medium Green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage, bulk
  • 1/2 pound Ground beef
  • 16 oz can Tomatos, chopped
  • 16 oz jar Spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz package Velveeta cheese sliced
  • 8 oz package Cheese, cheddar shredded
  • 16 oz package Mostaccioli Pasta
  • Saute onion, celery, green pepper & garlic, set aside. Brown sausage and ground beef in 5 qt Dutch oven. Drain fat. Addsauteed vegetables, tomatoes and spaghetti sauce. Mix well , cook on low heat for about 15 minutes.

    Boil pasta till tender, drain.

    In greased 13x9 pan, layer meat sause, noodles and cheese. Repeat untill all gone, make sure top layeris cheese.

    Bake 450° uncovered for 45minutes, or untill cheese is melted andslightly browned.

    I usually double thebatch and freeze one for later.
