Cornbread

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup Flour, all-purpose
  • 3 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 cup Corn meal, yellow
  • 1/3 cup Sugar, granulated
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Sift flour and baking powder, mix in milk and eggs, stir in cornmeal; add remaining ingredients in order and bake in 8x8, well greased pan for 20 minutes. 425°oven.
