Golden Cornbread

  • 1 1/4 cups Corn meal, yellow
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 2-4 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable oil
  • Preheat oven to 425°. In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, oil and egg;mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into 9x9 inch Square Baker. Bake20-23 minutes or until cake comes out clean.
