Bret's Disgustingly Rich Brownies

  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Flour, all-purpose
  • 6 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla flavoring
  • 1 1/2 cups Butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Walnuts, broken, optional
  • Preheat oven to 350°. In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, cocoa and melted margarine. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Mix until smooth. Fold in walnuts. Pour batter into WELL GREASED13x9 pan. Bake 40-50 minutes. WATCH. Donot overbake. When cool, frost or dust with powdered sugar. This is the best brownie recipe I have come across yet.
