Six Layer Chocolate Cake

  • 3 sticks Butter
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 7 Eggs
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Evaporated milk
  • Cream butter, adding sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Fold in sift dry ingredients. Alternate with milk beating until smooth. Add vanilla. Bake in 9 inch pan at 375° for 12 minutes. Approximately six tablespoons of batter to each pan. (Chocolate Frosting)

    5 Square unsweetened chocolate

    2 boxes confectionary sugar

    1 stick margarine

    1 tlbs. vanilla, evaporated milk

    Melt Chocolate and Margarine. Fold inconfection sugar, Alternate with milk beating slowly
